Do you work on Carver C1 sonic holographic preamp
Have a bad turntable input. Makes record sound scratched.

Hi @mikedobrovolski ,
Ifixit does not do repairs, however you can get advice on maybe how to repair it yourself. ;-).
Have you verified that it is the amp and not the turntable i.e. faulty needle, cartridge, connections or even the cable that connects to the amp?
Here's the service manual for the amp. (be patient when waiting to download, it takes a little while to find the file)
It has the schematics and the parts list which should help you to find the problem.
Hopefully a start.
