I see a small cloud of water on the bottom

So i saw that my screen was very dirty so i took a water spray and a cloth and just went around the screen, i made sure not to let any go inside from the bottom and what not but when i turned it off and came back to it 2 minutes later there is a small cloud of water in the bottom center of the screen just sitting there, i unplugged it and left it there now. Is my tv set to be dead now? or is there still hope for it

To start with, is the water on top of the display or under it? My guess is behind it from your description, but I just wanted to make sure.

You are most likely able to have the TV working as normal again. :D

Solutions:

If the water is on top of the screen, take a dry cloth and gently use it to get rid of the water.

If the water is behind the screen, please add a picture of it so that someone with more experience to be able to help you with a solution for how to solve that.

Future Cleaning

In the future, avoid using something wet like water or any other chemical/alcohol for cleaning a screen.

Most times, you are good just using a dry microfibre cloth to gently remove most of the dust etc. from the screen.

If there is something eg. sticky, it will probably don't be enough and you may use a slightly DAMP (water) cloth, or some dedicated screen cleaner (spray it on the cloth, NOT directly on the screen).

@abde19 just like suggested before, post some pictures of what this all looks like. Outside of the screen will be no issue. Just wipe it off. Inside of the screen could become a major issue. The water may just cause some cossorion damage on your screen. The best way of trying to fix it is by disassembling your display and cleaning/ drying all the components (LED Matrix, diffuser sheets etc.) Yes it's a bit of a PITA but it may just keep your TV around a bit longer. .
