Why does my mid 2012 MacbBook Pro smell terrible?

Hey everyone, I've been using my MacBook quite a bit recently and I get so tempted to throw it out the window with this body-odor smell that it keeps giving off. It's probably not as bad as I'm making it seem but I'm sensitive to this kind of stuff. Whenever I close it I keep a dryer sheet in between the screen and keyboard to try and alleviate the smell but it normally doesn't help too much. I've already blasted the thing with compressed air, and on the inside, I don't notice anywhere particular that it's coming from; it's just a general smell. I've looked online and apparently it's a common thing with these MacBooks, but I haven't found a solution that worked for me. If any of you have any suggestions or ideas please let me know, it'll help a lot.

We should look at introducing Smell-O-Vision here on iFixit!

It's a common issue and easy to fix. Take your bottom cover off and carefully scrape off the foam pad that presses on the RAM chips. You should replace it with the same thickness. I use the white foam art double stick tape and cover the exposed side with Kapton Tape

Maybe it has touched mold, expired food, alcohol, etc. For example, I had lots of objects that smelled terrible due to touching an object that already smells bad. If not, you may have to go and search it up on the web. Try going to Google.com
