Anytime I play a certain part of a game it shuts off

Anytime that I play a certain part of a game such as when I try to make a advanced entrance in wwe2k19 it shuts off anytime I play nba2k22 it shuts off and we thought that it was the fan so we bought a new one and took it to a place that can put the fan into the ps4 but they said that they couldn’t do anything because when they opened it they saw that it was water damaged and if they tried to replace it, it would destroy the motherboard or somethin. So if anyone knows anything that I can do to make it stop shutting off other than that it’s water damaged it would be great.

FIRE_madX you got to deal with this “it was water damaged” first. Post some pictures of the damaged area etc. with your QUESTION. That way we can see what you see and possibly help you out further. For as long as you do not deal with the water damage it will be very difficult to trouble shoot your console. It is easily possible that it shuts down because of a corroded or otherwise malfunctioning component on your board.
