Loose connection in LCD, gives a color line in the middle?

As my topic describes, I have a colored vertical line on my display.

It is not permanent, however, if I press my thumb against the "spot", and use my other fingers to press the left side against myself, it works perfectly fine.

When I turn the lid up and down, eventually, it will work.

I have linked a before and after scenario. It's not a GPU problem, since I easily can use an extern monitor.

When I start my MB: http://gratisupload.dk/vis_billede/66929...

When I've "fixed" it: http://gratisupload.dk/vis_billede/66929...

It must be some kind of "loose connection" in my monitor, but is there anyone who knows how to fix this problem, other than buying a new?

This happened after I dropped it on the floor, so that is why I'm guessing that it's a loose connection.

Due to a lack of suggestions I would say, No, no one knows of a workaround other than the one your using, or a complete replacement of the LCD. Open the unit and reseat the connectors. If the problem continues the LCD will have to be replaced.
