Can keycaps from the Intel 16" (2019) be put on an M1 16" (2021)?
keycaps from the 2019 16” look similar to the keycaps from the 2021 16” but can they be swapped interchangeably?

Since they’re from different generations, most likely no. Although it shouldn’t hurt to try assuming you have some to try out.

Just keep in mind the risks! Popping off keycaps is tricky! And presently the M series parts have not hit the open market. So if you mess up you’ll need to visit an Apple Store or authorized reseller to get your system fixed and that could be costly!
