Why is my TV screen going dark after a few minutes?
Hi guys :) I’m currently having some problems with my Digihome Smart TV screen going dark after a few minutes of being used. I have shone a flashlight towards the screen and i can still see the picture but it’s just really really dark. I can still hear sound and use my remote as normal. It only seems to happen on hdmi and i can’t understand why.

What is the model number of the TV?
Initially I thought that the problem might be with the backlights but it is strange that it only happens on HDMI.
Can you try different HDMI ports, HDMI cables even a different HDMI signal source e.g. dvd player and see if it still occurs?
If it does then try different input connection types i.e. Component video, RF (coax), Composite video to see if it also occurs or if it is with HDMI only.
Can you still view the TV menus OK when the screen goes dark?
