My iPhone 3g got wet and it still works but the screen light is so dim it looks black until I use a flashlight to see everything on my screen. What can I do to fix this?

Lisa Stuart, for that, there are a few things that might be at fault. !. the LCD backlight is no longer working, replacing the LCD display may fix it. 2. The coil on the logic board that controls the backlight is no longer working, you can replacing it, but it requires soldering. The coil is a 6R8 and is widely available, check ebay etc. Also check
