This happens more often than you would think. Unfortunately the adhesive is the only thing that holds those screens in place and they degrade over time. This happens quicker if you are in a warm environment often, a sauna, in direct sun, or if it's getting wet often. This can be repaired but due to the age your best option might be to replace it as the repair is likely to cost you more than it's worth.
From what you have described all you may need is the force touch sensor adhesive gasket (14.99) but finding a shop with a low service charge is the issue.
Good luck and hope this was helpful
So you need new adhesive?

Thanks for responding Andrew. This one is weird.
The normal adhesive strip is still connected to the face and the force touch. The watch separated below the force touch. I can lift the screen and everything works. After examining, there was no adhesive where it separated. I popped the face back in and it held together for about a week or so then came loose again. I purchased new adhesive strip but there was no rim to place it on. Like I say just weird. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Steve

I will. I popped it back in for my wife so she could use it. The next time it pops out I’ll send some pics. Thanks

Side note: makensure your battery did not expand. In most case of iwatch screens lifting, the battery expended causing the screen to lift and would need to be replaced first
