Circle with lines on my Roku

I have a circle with lines coming up from it on my Roku television. It is only a few months old. Can someone please tell me what's wrong or if it's even worth fixing?

What is the make and model of your TV?

@andrewsawesome

It is a Roku 43 inch. It says TCL on the front of it. Where would I find any other information if you need it? I no longer have the box, so I have to find the info on the tv itself. I believe it is called a Class 4 Series Roku

That new little circle with line just appeared since last night as well.

This looks like a bad T-Con board, which can first anywhere from$14 to $40 to fix yourself. Like I mentioned, TCL also has a 1 year warranty on all TVs(proof of purchase may be required).

@andrewsawesome I bought it from my uncle so I don't have a receipt, but it was in the box, never used still, but ya, I have no proof of purchase so I'm kinda screwed on that aspect. That's why I'm trying to figure this out. I have 3 of these TVs, the other 2 bigger but the same age, with no problems. My daughter claims it is from keeping it on all the time for my 1 year old to watch her cartoons. This is such a headache because I'm disabled (MS), with a fixed income, so this TV is not just something I can just go replace really easy. What is the T-con board and is it hard to do? I'm not dumb but not an electrician either lol, so if it's easy to do I will just do it myself or have my fiance do it for me.

Thank you very much. Yes figured out it wasn't a board or anything that I could fix. I'm now having another TV do it as well. Thank you very much for your answer though. It's much appreciated.

The T-con board should look like the image below.

I would recommend buying the kit here, but first make sure the T-Con board matches model 34.29110.085 or ST4251D01-1-C-1. If it does not match one of these numbers,.comment with all numbers on the T-Con board.

The following 4 videos should help with the disassembly of the TV(keep in mind you just need to be able to access the T-Con board).

I took a pic of the only sticker on the back of it and took pics of the screen from the front and side because the circles look silverish from an angle. I'm just trying to figure out the problem and how much it might cost to fix it. I'm going to stick them in another comment because I can't figure out how to put them in this message lol

ariel newman I am certain that by now you figured out that it is not a board, not T-con or others. What you have here is a broken LCD screen. It can not be repaired but must be replaced. Screens that size are not commonly available at if they are, they are more expensive than a new TV. You can always remove your boards and sell those to recover some of the cost. Dispose of the LCD screen properly.

@andresawesome Hence the importance of those images. T-con boards do not leave lines like this. No board can manage to leave the circular errors on the LCD. That is always a panel error :-)
