DS Lite P6 Connector Black Clamp Popped

I was in the middle of reassembly of my DS Lite. I tried to detach the touch screen ribbon cable that connects to the P6 plug but the way I hold my DS while detaching, the black clamp that holds the ribbon cable securely just popped off. Good thing that I still saw the black clamp as it is too darn small. Is there are any way to snap it back in to the connector? If not, are electrical tapes helpful for holding the cable securely?

The picture below is not the actual. Just a reference. Thanks in advance!

I had this exact same problem, so I tried holding it down with a bit of Blu Tack, but that didn’t work very well.
I recently came across this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRxePF-d... which demonstrates the replacement process of the P6 connector. You need a soldering iron to do it, though, so I will be giving this a go once I get my hands on one.

Yeah I already saw that video and I don't have the skills to replace the connector. I managed it get it working by putting an electric tape to hold it in. The most difficult part was putting the motherboard back in the case while holding the tape in securely. And the touch screen fortunately still works! :)
