Keyboard replacement in MSI MS-16J1 laptop

Hi all,

I hope someone can help. I need to replace the palmrest on an MSI-16J1 laptop, however they always come without the keyboard. The keyboard is one of those with a metal shield on the back that looks like it is “stapled” into the palmrest.

I removed one once on a HP Omen and it was horrible. I gradually popped the fixings, but of course the metal shield never went completely flat again when trying to install a new keyboard and so the rest of the components (motherboard etc.) were not as snug as I would have liked.

Problem is I have never found a guide on how to replace these types of keyboards. Is anyone able to help me please or guide me in the right direction? Usually I just replace the entire palmrest with keyboard already installed but with these MSI ones I can never find one like this.
