Why is my MacBook Air 2014 not powering up?

I decided to restore my MacBook Air 2014 few hours ago, after wiping the HDD through the Disk Utility, I tried to re-install the OS X and it started the update for a while and all of a sudden the screen just went black and it didn’t come back up again. I tried to press down the power button for it to power on but nothing seems to be working as the system refuses to power up at all since. Please has anyone ever encountered this issue before?

Lets give this a try, follow this guide to disconnect the battery stopping at Step 3 MacBook Air 13" begin 2014 Vervanging van de batterij

Now with nothing plugged in, press the power button for a good 15 sec to fully discharge the system. Now plug in the MagSafe charger (don’t connect the battery) your system should spontaneously restart, did it? The MagSafe charger LED should be Amber if not you’ll need to clean and inspect the MagSafe charger contacts.

Make sue your cable doesn’t look like these!
