master cylinder slave cylinder

i have a dodge 3000GT stealth, is a 1993 model but the engine is from mitsubishi. i had a problem about 2 months ago with the slave cylinder and i think i mess up the clutch which it got replace, well now i have to put clutch fluid more often than usual, i check the interior or the car where the clutch pedal is and it looks like is leaking oil from the inside and not from the outside. I am thinking that it might be the master cylinder. i want to make sure that is the right part that i need to replace so i don't make any mistakes. any suggestions?? or advices??

I got m+s tires and it cost $25 each ohh yeah it fly i love manual transmission its fast i my first time i think it was to much to fly at 125mph but i understood that is what a 2010 v8 truck will run and the 3000Gt/stealth 93' will and have to pass i wanted to rpm to the maximun but i thougth 155mph is too much i couldnt brake i had to used hand brake and pedal brake i was close to 160mph but i will never do it again or i will dissapear forever.

doing 160 mph on $25 tires is not a good idea. I only took it to 145 mph when it was new with brand new tires rated for 160 mph. You not only endanger your own life but the lives of others on the road. If you're caught at those kinds of speeds (100+) you don't just get a ticket, they take you to jail and impound the car. Using the hand brake at that speed can also cause loss of control, skidding and you'd probably roll about 16 times before coming to a stop but we wouldn't have to worry about you ever doing it again as you'd be a pile of goo. ^^^... I agree with Mayer and I see the outcome of car vs tree/post/wall a lot. If you want to drive fast do a drivers course, in the right car on a racetrack...it's what my brother does.

osvaldo, I think you are right. Looks like it is your clutch master cylinder that is leaking. It is connected to the clutch pedal via a push rod. If the seal is leaking, fluid will get through the firewall into the interior. It is not a bad job to replacing it and should go pretty quick. You can download the 3000GT manual (identical to the Dodge Stealth) from here Hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks OT, I'm selling this car and hope it stays together before Oswaldo races it to an early grave. I debated a long time before selling it as a "first car".

Those are definitely fun cars and have a lot of oomph....So if it is a first car you better be careful driving...mayer, how are you doing? You feeling ok?

OT - I spend about 70% of my day in bed. Most of the time when I look at the questions here I just draw a blank. Every once in a while my head starts working again and I'll answer a bunch in a row then i start to nod off again. My follow up on questions stinks so please jump in if I don't get back to one. That Stealth was the fastest thing I ever owned and a great car. Oswaldo, in his infinite wisdom, put on two $30 used tires and took it up to 155 MPH.

Those babies fly....:-) I do hope that you will get through this a-okay. Do they have you on some good pain meds or is it the radiation that's kickin' your butt? Nothing wrong with being a little loopy as long as they get you fixed.
