Hi,

Some things to check:

Did you press Fn + F7 (both together) to see if this turned the touchpad on and off?

What is the status of the touchpad in Device Manager? To get to Device Manager in Win10, press the Win key + x key (both together) and click on the Device Manager link that is in the menu box that opens.

When in Device Manager, check under Human Interface Devices or Mice and other pointing devices (not sure with your laptop where it may be) to see if the touchpad is enabled and installed correctly.

If there is a red cross next to the touchpad entry in Device Manager, right click on the entry and select enable and then check.

If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the touchpad entry, right click on the entry and select update drivers and follow the prompts. You need to be online to do this.

If the touch pad entry appears to be OK check the status of the touchpad by right click on the entry and select Properties > General tab > Device Status box. Does it say “This device is working properly”.
