Laptop can't open/reboot after plugging wrong charger into USB port

My mum accidentally plugged an Apple USB-C to Lightning Cable to her Asus Laptop F453M. I tried to use some methods I had to search on the internet to fix it such as plugging out all externals then waiting and pressing the power button for 30 seconds. Although it didn’t work. I had also tried to see if plugging the power adapter will be lit, but it didn’t. I also can not open the back of the laptop to remove the battery as I am not experienced in computer hardware nor do I have the tools to open it.

I want to know what can I do now. Has the laptop short-circuited or has the laptop’s motherboard short-circuited? Should I go to the nearby technicians to fix it?

You probably caused a hard short circuit in the USB port.

First, reset the power supply. In most cases, just pull the power cable for 15–30 seconds and then plug it back in. If it boots up, you’re finished!

If that fails, you may have broken the USB port and have set up a permanent short. To fix that, open the case and disconnect the wires leading to that USB port. Repeat the power supply reset, and see if that works. If so, replace or permanently disconnect the damaged USB port.

If neither of those steps work, you may have a damaged motherboard of power supply. Do swap testing if possible, or take the desktop to a service center.
