iPhone disabled after screen replacement

I just replaced my iPhone 6s screen, which went very well - (great step by step instructions!) when I turned it on… ‘iPhone is disabled - connect to iTunes’ displayed on the screen. Is there anyway to ‘reset’ so that i don’t have to wipe the phone? If I have to erase, then no real big deal… I was just wondering if there are any other options since, also, I haven’t done a recent update.

Thanks

You could try a restore using a program called 3Utools. It has an option to retain user’s data and there is a slim chance if you know the passcode and the phone accepts it you might retain your data but this is a slim chance. Other than that there is not much you can do.

Thanks for the follow up Chris… I think I'll just go ahead and do a restore – I kind of have a feeling that I have a slim chance to save my data as well…

If you have some backup then you can try this method. I solve my issues by this process. You can try once. This process makes iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes to enter passcode mode. Just follow the instructions that may help you.
