My laptop won’t turn on

My laptop started beeping while updating and it froze so I shut it down now only the caps lock key and esc buttons light up but nothing on the screen I have tried almost everything someone help I can’t loose the documents I have saved.

Sorry for the very late answer. This is usually because of the battery or just a little bug.

I had to hold down the power button on my laptop for about 30 seconds unplugged for it to turn on again.
