MacBook shut off while charging + using MS word and won't turn on
I was sitting at my desk running word and safari while my mac was plugged in to the official apple charger. It was charged to 80% when it randomly shut off while I was typing a sentence in word. It is now unresponsive, will not turn on at all even when an SMC reset is attempted. The genius bar technician was stumped, he said it has nothing to do with the battery and might be a issue with the motherboard, but I haven’t had any previous issues. No water damage, never dropped, and it was recently updated to big sur. It was totally random as it was running fine one second and powerless the next.

Hey,
I am also facing the same issue using the MS ward. I was sitting at my work area running word and safari while my macintosh was connected to the authority apple charger. It was charged to 80% when it haphazardly shut off while I was composing a sentence in words. It is presently inert, and won't turn on by any stretch of the imagination in any event when an SMC reset has been endeavored.
The virtuoso bar specialist was baffled, he said it doesn't have anything to do with the battery and maybe an issue with the motherboard, yet I haven't had any past issues. No water harm never dropped, and it was as of late refreshed to huge sur. It was absolutely arbitrary as it was running fine one second and weak the following.
