Wi-fi occasionally disabled, card changed, cable problem?

Hi all,

I have a problem with my wifi connection, which often disappears when I move the screen. When I say disappear, I mean my computer no longer recognizes the wifi module. When this happens, I have to restart my computer by moving the screen slightly while crossing my fingers so that the connection returns in a new session. I have already changed the wifi module on my computer, but the problem persists, even if it is no longer as disabling as before.

I wonder, if changing the wifi module did not solve the problem, it might mean that the problem is elsewhere. As the interruption and the recovery of the wifi are done with screen movements, maybe there is something in the screen part to change?

Anyone have a little advice for me?

THANK YOU

if moving the screen fixes/causes the issues it might be a ribbon cable in there?

I’m not MAC expert by any means lol but is the WIFI antenna in the screen.

is the card just not recognized by the computer anymore or is it just not connecting to the network?

Hi Logixal, I suppose it's about the cable, because I have already changed the Wifi module, and the disconnect happens when the screen's moved ?

I guess I'm interested to buy a cable, but I don't know how/where, and then how can I change it. I need a tuto as well
