Hi everybody,

I have Macbook Pro Retina Late 2013 Corei7 2.6GB 16GB RAM. After I replace the display I have this issue which is my mac works with SSD SAMSUNG 128GB (new) but with another SSD's has panic kernel almost every SSD has this problem except this new SSD. Also, I upgrade to Big Sur but I didn’t like it so now I’m just using Mojave. I format every single SSD and installed Mojave but my mac just works fine with this SSD new.

What should be the problem?

What I understand until now is also about Voltage and Amper. For example, all they are using 3.3V but every generation uses its own amper which is started from 1.2A until 3.2A.

Who's SSD's are you encountering issues with??

Are you using ones that are designed to work with Apples custom interface or using an adapter with a M.2 SSD?

All of them are designed for Apples.

Review this great guide The Ultimate Guide to Apple’s Proprietary SSDs Make sure you are using the correct SSD.

Apple changed things a few times so even if you have one of the Apple custom SSD's it might not be the correct one for your system.
