Touchscreen stops working and forced to connect the flex everytime

Hello,

Like the tittle says, today i turned on my phone and the touchscreen stopped working completely, so i opened the phone, unplugged and plugged the screen flex cables, after that the touchscreen came back to life but suddenly some ghost touches started to happen and again the touchscreen became dead again and im forced to repeat the process all over again with the same results.

Any clues?

Since the touch components are on the screen and not the logic board the most likely cause is either the connector or the screen. Check the connector under some magnification making sure the pins are not pushed into the plastic. If it looks alright it will be a faulty screen.
