What do I do if my phone doesn't turn on after it was dropped in water
Dropped my iphone 8 in water and it wad working then i got home and i put it to charge but it wouldn't turn on what do i do?

The best things to do are.
1. Open the phone up and disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the logic board from its housing.
3. Swish the board around in 99% Isopropyl alcohol as well as brushing the exposed components like connectors with a soft toothbrush.
4. When the board has dried you can put it back in the housing. You will know when it has dried when you cannot smell any alcohol on it.
5. Install a new battery.
If it doesn’t power on after this you could try another screen but it will most likely be due to faulty component on the logic board due to the water and you will need to send it to a reputable repairer who at least should be able to retrieve your data if it wasn’t backed up.

if no one has ever opened your phone, it should still be waterproof.
most of the time it just freezes and then have to do a reset by taking these steps (your data won't go away)
1: press the volume button up
2: then volume down
3: then press and hold the on and off button until you see the apple logo
if this does not show after a few times, there is a good chance that your battery or screen is broken
