Can't play games, CD Player issue

Hello all, i loved playing playstation but today i wanted to play final DooM but. It reads it as music cd. Not as CD game, is there any fix? Looks like this: https://www.reddit.com/r/nostalgia/comme...

My model is SCPH-9002 PAL

TL;DR my ps1 reads Final DooM as music disc

I’ve encountered the same thing. The simple fix would be putting the CD into the drive then turning it on.

I’m guessing you’re installing the CD after the console booted up :o
