But a good SSD would be just fine. Don't expect miracles with M.2 over SSD in terms of normal daily use.

The Haier y11C, according to my knowledge, only supports a SATA-based m.2 SSD. So make sure you get the SATA one and not the nvme. You would also need to install an operating system on it since your HDD is dead. This video might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0QG6zZR...
