Hi @damorejodane,

Things to try:

Wipe the cache partition and check if this resolves the problem.

Start the phone in safe mode and check that it works OK. If it does then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. You will need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall to see if it works OK or not. When it does then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the culprit. (A downloaded app is one that you installed on the phone and did not come pre-installed on the phone when you first got it).

If the two suggestions above do not resolve the problem try a factory restore (or reset) and check if this fixes it.

Be aware that a factory restore will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its factory default (or last system updated) condition. Therefore it is important to backup the phone to the cloud or a computer before performing the factory restore. Also if the phone has a Google account, write down (or find out if you don’t remember) what the Google user ID and password is for the phone as you may need it to access the phone once it has been reset. (Google FRP lock)

Once the phone has been backed up, ensure that the battery is fully charged and then factory restore the phone using the phone’s factory restore feature (find this in Settings).

Once it has been reset, (be patient as it takes a little while to perform the reset), check if the phone now works OK.

If it does then using the backup performed earlier, restore the phone to what it was before the reset, using the phone’s restore feature. Once it has been restored, check that it is still working OK. If so then the reset has resolved the problem.
