LG V30+ Orange Border When Playing Videos

For some reason, when I play a video in the browser, a orange border shows up around the video. I have all the accessibility options off so I don't know why it is there. Does anybody know how to remove the orange border? I have a picture below. The orange border is near the corners.

Hi @jimmysofat6864 ,

It looks like the image is not filling the screen.

Don't know but does it only happen in a browser and not when using an app to view downloaded videos etc?

Is there another browser app on the phone that you can try?

Is it all videos or only the one?

Have you tried updating the browser app or clearing the data and cache from the app in Settings?

It seems to only happening in the browser but if I play back videos in an app like MX Player, the orange border goes away. I have used chrome, brave, and Samsung internet and they all seem to have the same issue. This only happens to all videos that are played back in the browser. Updating and clearing the cache did not fix the problem.

Turns out it’s the video player that the website I was using that was causing the problem. If you tap to the side of the center of the screen to hide the video controls, the orange shows up. However, if you press play and pause in the corner and wait for the video controls to go away on their own instead of tapping the screen to have it go away, the orange disappears. Thanks to everyone that contributed.

TLDR: Tap on the play pause button and wait for the media controls to go away on their own.

Hi @jimmysofat6864

Try starting in safe mode and see if that works.

If it does then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. You need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall, until it works OK, when it does then the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the culprit.

If also no good in safe mode try wiping the cache partition and check

Turns out it was the video player in the website and not any of the apps that was causing the problem. Thanks for the tip though.
