I’ve tried the official Nintendo guide and I’ve tried different HDMI cables. It has to be the chip that controls the TV stuff that’s broken. Anyone have a solution or alternatives so I don’t have to crack my switch open?

.Has there been any water spilt on the switch at all or has it been dropped as these devives are quite flimsy and easily damaged. If nothing is working it could possibly be your dock if you have tried another dock and still nothing then it sounds like it is your p13 chip. That is located on the back of the motherboard the controls HDMI output. Normally replacing this would resolve the issue however it involves soldering skills. You can send it into repair to somewhere local or myself as I have a repair company and deal with these kind of issues

I don’t have another dock, and I got the switch off eBay.
Aside from the whole motherboard thing here, is there a guide on how to replace the P13 chip?
There is yes you need flux and a hot iron and a microscope to do it
