Why is the PP18V5_DCIN not present on the board?

Hi,

I’m trying to understand what is going on with my Macbook Pro early 2015 (820-4924). I don’t have any power the PP18V5_DCIN is not present on the board. I have something around 600mV with a pulse of 4V that I can see with a scope, but nothing else.

Which also mean I don’t have any rails present to, am I right? I checked voltage at the connector of the MagSafe 2, so it is not a problem with the fuse. There is no short to ground, I have the 68k between ground and PP18V5_DCIN.

Did anyone know what could be the problem?

Gekozen oplossing

The 600mV looked a lot like a diode. So I investigated a little deeper in the circuit. I found out that Q7130 has burn. The mosfet burn acted like a diode, (from the side diode). Once removed from the circuit the 18.4V came back.
