YLOD on the slim ps3 version?

PS3 120GB model got the YLOD. Tried to reflow it with flux but it did not work. Anyone going through the same trouble? Is reballing the only answer?

I got the old version of PS3 and yes i got the YLOD, have been blow drying it everytime it comes up. But this worries me, am planning to buy the PS3 slim and if its got the YLOD then why isnt sony doing anything to prevent this. Looks like they want to make more money than they already have. Better yet, give an expiry date so we know after 2 years we have to buy another ps3 instead of getting the YLOD. I mean seriously...
