I know this is an old thread, but that clip is fairly easy to get if you search for iPhone X small parts. It's definitely overkill, but you can get what you're looking for from Amazon.

According to this question: iPhone X Grounding Clip
A user is saying it is really no big deal. However I’ve read the opposite online (mostly about preventing shorts and other wifi/NFC connections. It’s your call, but I personally lost mine and have been fine without it for the past 2 years.
