Why is face ID not working after screen replacement on iPhone XR

I replaced a screen on a iphone XR but I moved the earpiece and sensor module over to the new screen and was very careful. The earpiece functions correctly any ideas what this could be?

You could have a bad connection or you could have torn the cable. It's easy to tear cable.
