Device tries to boot, but wont
I recently bought a iPhone XS with a broken screen and wanted to replace it. The included battery was unfortunately broken. I knew that it wouldnt boot without a battery, but i still wanted to see what the current draw without one was. Without a battery, i plugged in a charger and all it does is it jumps to ~200mA and goes to 0 again. So i bought a new battery from iFixit…and it still does the very same thing? I checked the battery with a multimeter, and it definitly has a charge. I read that the device can still boot without a screen, so i disconnected the screen and tried again. Still the same. Ive also read that the newer iPhones actually refuse to boot without a proper screen installed. Is that true? Should i buy a cheap 40$ LCD Panel from China, or even invest in an OEM one, to test the Device? Or is the logic board defective?
Is dit een goede vraag?
