Hi @joseee2020 ,

Is there still audio when the TV is on and there is no picture?

If so, try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen when there is audio to check if there are any images at all on the screen. They will be very faint if they are there so trying this in a darkened room may help to see them.

If there are images detected, then there is a backlight problem.

If the TV is no longer covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, turn off the TV (if on) and disconnect the power from the TV. Remove the back cover from the TV and then disconnect the cable that goes between the power board and the mainboard.

Reconnect the power to the TV and switch on the TV. The TV backlights should come on and stay on. There will be no picture/audio because the mainboard is disconnected.

If the backlights do not come on or come on and do not stay on, check the voltage at the LED connector on the power board. If the voltage is >220V DC then there is a problem with the LED backlight array. If the voltage is <30V DC then there is a problem with the power board.

Be safety aware when testing as there is exposed lethal AC voltage on the power board. If you don’t know how to test, then don’t do it! it’s not worth it, call the experts
