Possible water damage with a low budget

Hello everyone, I have a 3DS that I found about a month back, and today I decided to try to use it. I tried the power button with no luck, so I thought is was dead. I charged it up with my working charger that I use for my own 3DS, and the orange charging light turned on. Once it was fully charged, again I tried to turn it on with nothing happening. I opened the back up and took the battery out to see what I think was the water sticker white. Anything I can do to fix this? I only have some basic tools, experience with a soldering iron but no longer have one (lost it to a flooded basement), and no money to buy parts, but hopefully it can be fixed. If it turns out I can't fix it, could I use the parts to fix up my old 3DS? Many thanks!

Hi Again!

Waterdamage is critical for those devices. There can be a lot of damage. You need to open it and check if there is corrosion on the motherboard or other components. And make sure you clean it with isopropyl. Afterwards test and see if it works.
