13" - 2017 MacBook Pro (A1708, 14,1) - keyboard replacement procedure

Hello,

I see the keyboard can be replaced for this MacBook (A1708, 14,1).

I’m looking all over the web to find if/how the keyboard can be removed/installed and, so far, I haven’t found anything.

I see they are available for sale at iFixIt for $149.99 (Item code: IF123-121-1), but, again, not sure how difficult it would be to replace.

If anyone can point me to a link revealing how this is done please share.

Thank you for your time.

Then you’ll need to visit an Apple Store or authorized service center to have them replace your keyboard under the extended warranty program Apple has for your system Keyboard Service Program for MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro

Make sure you’ve backed up your stuff and if you have anything sensitive erase your drive.

Its free! But it can take a week to get done depending where the repair depot is and of course we have Voldemort hitting us! So things could take longer.

Don't forget to score the answer & accept it - Thanks!
