Can I use parts of different models?

let’s call the iphone 6 model 1586 “iphone A” and the other one (model 1549) “iphone B”.

Hi. I recently got an iphone A. When I try to replace the screen of the iphone B with it, both of the iphones’ cpu overheats. When I put everything back into it’s place, both works. Why is this?
