That doesn’t answer my question
Don't use one. Just reach over a touch the center screw of an electrical outlet or any metal object that grounded out and discharge yourself.
I don’t know what that means. Please help. Explain it like you would a two year old

Simply use it as you would on any other piece of electronics when you have them open. Just connect the wrist strap to any grounded object, or the ground terminal in an outlet. Make sure you are sure that it is the ground and not a hot or neutral lug if you are using an outlet. It is the bottom prong in the US (round shaped).
