If the answer from Majesty should not work for you, there is still another way. But you better know what you are doing and have some really good skills. The problem that you might be run into is that your logic board, or at least one of its circuits, is non-functioning. This prohibits any software from accessing your NAND memory. You will have to have a working logic board in order to access your files from another computer. If you have great skills and lots of patience, you could build your own NAND reader. You will of course need the Datasheet for your particular chip. Here are some great instructions on how to accomplish this. The success of this will of course depend on your skill level. there is an excellent paper that will give you more of the theory. If none of that is going to work for you, the NAND readers are commercially available but apparently cost a fortune. You could also try something like this. You may have to develop your own software etc....There is no other way to access the data from your iPOD. Good Luck

You can try to use software like "iPhone Explorer" for Mac and mount the Touch as a drive and navigate through your files from there. Once you find what you are looking for just drag the files to your desktop.
