PS3 won't turn on. Power and eject buttons not working (no light).

My PS3 was overheating and really loud so I followed the guide to disassemble it in order to clean it on the inside. I removed all the dust from the fan and around the components and then put it back together.

(Note: I have the CECH-2501A model)

Once it was back together, the power and eject buttons wouldn’t work. The power cable was connected but there was no red light and the buttons were not working. I was still able to power on the device by pressing the PS button on the controller. There still wasn’t a green light but at least it was working.

The issue is, in the middle of a game, the PS3 froze. It couldn’t be turned off using the controller (or the button on the console), so I removed the power cable and put it back. Now I can’t turn it on at all. The controller won’t turn it on (I used two different ones, and they’re charged), and the buttons still won’t work.

I disassembled it again and the cable coming off the control board is connected. Everything seems to be connected.

Any ideas what the issue could be??
