Why is my touch screen not working?

I dropped my phone while outside, it fell onto the back porch which is wooden. I noticed that the touch wasn't responding so I reset the phone in hopes that it was just a one time thing, sadly the screen still wasn't responding to any touches at all. Everything besides the screen not working works. The navigation buttons, as well as the home button and the volume button still works fine. The fingerprint scanner also works perfectly fine. Other than that, the screen is still unresponsive. If someone knows the answer to this please tell me.
