Why doesn't my iPhone xr screen respond?

i got my iphone xr around 4 months ago. its brand new and was never used. i dropped it bad a couple times and the screen slightly cracked, but it was still working alright. i dropped it screen facing down once more and this time when i picked it up the screen wasn’t working. it wasnt responding to anything, i could use the volume buttons and the off button but the screen wouldn’t work. there was one part of the screen that worked though. when i touched it my phone opened, which meant it responds to that. i took off my screen protector, my phone case. i tried so many things i found online such as heating it up, rebooting it using the off and volume buttons about 4 times, i tried cleaning the screen, i tried charging it and leaving it for about an hour but it still doesn’t work. please help i cant do anything, i can’t enter my passcode, open notifications, answer calls, nothing. my screen completely doesn’t work. do i have to replace my screen or get it checked at the apple store? thats expensive and i dont have insurance or a warranty. is there anything at all that i could try at home to get it working again? any suggestions would be very appreciated. thank you.
