Square grid all over the screen. Deadzone too

I recently got this phone and I found out it wasn’t turning on. Opened it up and disconnected the battery and reconnected back. It turns on. The screen now have square grids across the whole screen. I can’t touch anything, deadzone all over.

I want to make sure it’s the screen and not the logic board. Can someone verify this for me please.

Het nuttigste antwoord

Reseat the screen connectors with the battery unplugged.

Those graphical artifacts on the display are usually caused by either faulty screen cables, loose screen connectors (not fully clicked in) or worst case damaged screen connector (physical damage will be obvious).

Also try cleaning the connector with a soft bristle brush and some isopropyl alcohol before trying another screen as a last resort.

Tried all of that and change the screen. Still did the same

@tyyoung95 Picture couldn't possibly tell more than @benjamen50 already pointed out, but since you've tried all and new screen, a damaged connector or IC on the board side is all that's left unfortunately.
