Whw4800bq1 whirlpool washer. Acting funny.
I got this washer off a friend, it most definitely worked when he had it. Got it brand new a month old, although the model is from 2014.
I did a self diagnostic, it went through.
did a error/fault check manually. Nothing came back.
reset it by self and manually and calibrated it.
I noticed on the manual reset for the High spin it would not spin. Any idea why?
it spins on low and the low agitator (I think that’s what it’s called) works. I haven’t tested the high yet.
I have noticed another thing though. I put in another washer (Kenmore) in from my dad before I got the whirlpool washer and it was doing the same thing that made me run the reset and Calab.
I start the washer, it fills and then it drains and stays on the wash cycle without actually washing.
could it be because my drain pipe comes up from the ground by like 5 inches?

Could you please verify the model number, as nothing is showing up for the number that you posted?
Also besides the no high spin problem it doesn't fill with hot water only cold, is this correct?
Does this happen on the initial wash fill or only on the rinse cycle?
