i have been following through with the 4s battery replacement tutorial, but this little thing is proving to be a problem. i can’t seem to get it to sit still and it keeps moving around, and the phone only works when plugged in. any help?
apparently the pressure contact has nothing to do with the battery, so what is going wrong? D:

Forget the thing that holds down the antenna. If the phone works when plugged in, then that is pretty good for a 4s. It is difficult to find any battery that will still work in a 4s. Use a usb ammeter to see if it is consuming charging current. If it is—wait and the device will eventually work on battery. If it is not, then troubleshooting battery and charging.
