iPhone 5 screen/iPhone itself won't turn on after battery replacement

So my iPhone 5 screen or the iPhone itself won’t turn on after battery replacement. I checked all the cable is seated but it’s not the problem. I power cycled the phone (disconnect and reconnecting the battery). What is the problem?

(Also there is some heat on the screen itself it on the right up corner of the screen)

Bad battery? You may need to recheck all of the connections again and try another replacement battery.

If screen is overheating you may have a short either at board level or at screen level. Try starting your phone without screen by plugging in a lightning cable with battery connected. See if it is alive and recognized by a PC. You may also try shine a bright light when the screen is in place..if you see a dimmed out image it may be a backlight problem.

Problems may present when installing the screen if battery is already plugged into the board as some circuitry is already powered and it may happen to shorten circuits during install. Unless your old battery was completely dead, try putting in the old one to rule out a bad battery. Unfortunately there’s a number of potential issues and you need to do some further testing to try and gather additional info.

The PC detect the iPhone in DFU mode (EDIT:I managed to boot to Recovery mode and Itunes detect the iPhone)

(EDIT 2:The logic board is not getting hot anymore)

Does it turn on with the original battery connected? Or did it ever?

Try this, install display with new battery, wait 15 seconds, that's about as much time as it needs to boot up all the way, after 15 sec, turn the vibrator button on and off, and if you don't feel a vibration, battery is bad, if you do feel a vibration, lcd screen is bad. Try a new battery, if new battery doesn't work, check by the battery connectors you will see some small components closest to the connector, you might have broke off one of those components while prying the battery up. I've done that before and it's not easy to deal with if you dont have micro soldering experience. If that is the case try to find a repair shop around you that has micro soldering experience with this issue. Always disconnect the battery from the left side of the connector with a spudger under the flex cable. Hope this helps.
