GSM connection issues after battery replacement
Hello everybody!
I recently repaired my broken/constantly depleting iPhone 4 battery using this iPhone 4 Battery Replacement instruction. After exchanging the parts and not touching anything with my bare hands I reassembled the device. Afterwards I had a pretty bad reception but it was manageable.
Following the tip to degrease the connecting parts with a degreaser such as Windex, I got my self a window cleaner, sprayed it on a towel made sure it is just a little bit wet and swiped it over the connection points (of the pressure contact). Now I don't have any reception.
Is there anything else I can try to improve my reception. Did I use to few of the degreaser or is it possible that it left some "protective" coat on top of the metal. If so is there a possibility to get it off?
I didn't touch anything else. Wifi and GPS works fine.
I hope you can give me some advise!

Hi- Great to know you solved this on your own, but please copy and paste that update to an answer instead of an edit. Then accept it so we can see that's the answer and it is marked as such.

Since this is my own question, I cannot answer it. Sorry. It says:

jpcg, all you have to do is cut and past your comment into the answer box and submit. after that the Action should allow you to accept
your own resolution. Good Job.

Oldturkey, it looks as though he is correct, because he posted the question, he can't post an answer, only leave a comment. Hence why I copied and pasted his edit.

Sorry Mike, I did not know that. In the past, we were able to do it. See not charging after battery replacement for my own. Has this changed with any of the recent edits to the software? How would jpcg achieve his Researcher Badge ;-) ?
