My MacBook backlight is not working after water damage

I spilled some water on my Macbook, the computer worked well for a while, and suddenly the screen turned black. It never lighted up again.

Now it works perfectly with an external monitor. When I put a flash through the apple logo I can see the mouse cursor. What would be the problem and how should I fix it? Thanks in advance.

BTW, the display looks like this when I flash through the apple logo.

Here are some images when I opened it up. Any help would be appreciated.

Your motherboard needs a Liquid Damage Treatment, can be a simple fuse or a Chip on the Motherboard. Somebody has to check it internally and do a diagnostic, or remove the back and take a picture we can help you.
