Apple Pay Not working on iPhone X

I went to a repair shop to replace the charging port. There was a component loose and needed replacement. Upon completion of repair, the phone kept restarting itself every 2-3 minutes.

I returned to the repair shop, and they placed logic board and face id system in a new housing. Phone works, but the NFC reader does not pick up on Apple pay transactions. It just has the “hold near reader”, and does nothing.

The wireless charging works fine, but not picking up on Apple pay. I’ve reset the phone to factory defaults, but still no go. The repair shop has run out of ideas.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
