complete failure of soundbar AM8214-A

Have been told that mother board cannot be replaced. Failed after only two years. Polk offered to sell me new one for same price. Not happening. Saw that a repair can be done but didn’t list a place to get mother board.

So exactly what is your end solution to your problem? Might be of use to post where you saw the repair being done to aid other participants in finding a possible solution for you.

Thanks for responding. On this site ( home) I searched 'troubleshooting Polk MagniFi Max soundbar'. I scrolled down to motherboard dysfunction and touched 'guide'. An article by D'Lana Pearce appeared and outlined removal but neglected to say where new board could be found. Solution would be to fix my own (paid for) electronic device by replacing motherboard instead of spending more money on new and creating more e-waste. Isn't that the point of this site?
